Vote for Academy Leadership and a UAND Member Could Win Big!

January 28th, 2013

Just when you thought the campaign trail had closed… We need one more vote from you….. a vote not only for professional advocacy, but a vote that could win a  “FNCE trip of a lifetime” for one lucky UAND member!

Last year only 13.9% of our members voted in the national elections and our neighbor to the north, Montana lead in participation at the polls with 31.5% of their members voting!  As a former Montana girl who now has Utah pride, I know we can do better than that in the Beehive State!  The polls will be open from February 1 through February 22, 2013 and voting will just take a couple of minutes, so let’s make sure the campaign trail is not lost in Utah!

To vote on February 1st go to:

Then challenge your fellow RDs to do the same!

Now for the best news:  If Utah has the highest percentage of members voting, we will win a complimentary registration for the Academy’s Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo in Houston, October 19 – 21, 2013, which will be raffled to one lucky member at our annual conference in March!

So…..Let your VOICE (and Utah’s) be heard in the 2013 Academy elections.  The polls will be open from February 1 through February 22, 2013.

Not sure who to vote for…… become informed by visiting:

President-Elect 2012-2013
