Utilizing Social Media for Productivity, Growth and Revenue

March 4th, 2013

Shelly Redmond will be a keynote speaker at the Friday afternoon general session of the UAND Conference as well as a presenter of a Friday afternoon breakout session.  Shelly will be discussing ways of “Utilizing Social Media for Productivity, Growth and Revenue.”

Shelly began her dietetics career working as an outpatient dietitian at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Shreveport, LA counseling patients on weight loss, CVD, and wellness.  She previously operated a nutrition and lifestyle private practice.  Each of these experiences has helped her in her most recent endeavor of developing Healthy Lifestyles – “an online magazine for classy co-eds specializing in nutrition, fashion, and lifestyle.”  Shelly is the founder and Editor in Chief of Healthy Lifestyles.  She also manages the day to day operations of the firm in addition to supervising the work of PR and Writing Interns.

Healthy Lifestyles began as a blog, but has expanded to a full fledge media site due to Shelly’s use of social media.  She has discovered the “ins and outs” of social media and has recognized how it can increase business productivity, exposure, and revenue.   Shelly has used her experience and success of College Lifestyles to consult with individuals and companies on social media branding and marketing.  Join us on Friday to learn from Shelly’s experience and knowledge of social media!
