Learn How to Live Your Best Life with Speaker Pam Schmid!

Pam Schmid will be a presenter at the Friday UAND afternoon general session as well as a break-out session on coaching positive behavior.  She is the perfect choice for coaching positive behavior and living your best life since her life has been about doing that!

Pam began a career as a teacher, teaching special education (and minoring in Psychology).  She then moved to health and fitness and then drug treatment in a federal prison.  Her life has always been about helping others and finding the best within themselves.

Pam is the president and owner of Priorities Simplified, LLC, which is a company that offers wellness services for individuals and organizations.  In 2004, Pam was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and after that her company name took on new meaning –to keep things simple.  She wanted to create a “program to give survivors a pathway to feeling their best with powerful yet practical steps that inspire hope, possibility and strength.”

Regardless of where you work or who you serve in the Dietetics world, Pam will have real life tips and coaching tricks to help coach positive behavior.  She has published, presented and spoken on several topics related to positive psychology, with topics such as “Living With, Not Dying from Metastatic Breast Cancer”, Inspiring Hope, 5 Pathways to Optimal Health and Well-Being”, and Creating Your Best Life for Optimal Health and Well-Being.”
