Awards

UAND participates in nominations of outstanding dietitians in Utah for various awards from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. If you would like to recognize someone who is deserving of an award, call Adrienne Aldous (801-278-9571), and she will assist you in determining the appropriate award and provide the nomination form. These nominations are due by February 15.

Awards are presented at the Utah Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Annual Meeting. The current available awards are: Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year (RYDY), Award of Merit, Dietitian of the Year, Emerging Dietetic Leader (EDL), UAND Award of Recognition. Application forms with criteria for these awards are included on this site. All applications and nominations must be submitted by February 15 to:
