Position Description:

$2500 Sign on Bonus

This position is responsible for all aspects of Patient Services within the Culinary Service department in the hospital. This role provides leadership and direction related to optimal provision of meals to patients and creating an exceptional experience. This position will oversee daily operations of this service line, implementing system-level best practice standards, organizing and managing quality initiatives, meeting regulatory compliance, managing caregiver productivity, cost-effective service delivery, and realizing customer expectations.

This individual will provide leadership, operational oversight and advise, inform and implement strategic direction for matters pertinent to Patient Services. This individual reports to the Culinary Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution. Education is verified.

Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire

Three years of experience in hospital food service/leadership positions

Demonstrated effective business skills in the culinary industry

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in quality improvement initiatives
