The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics House of Delegates has recently updated UAND on two important topics we though you should know about:<\/p>\n
A new position paper concept on the topic of type 2 diabetes has been approved by the Academy Positions Committee. The next step is for the proposal<\/a> (available to members at: http:\/\/www.eatright.org\/Members\/content.aspx?id=6442476965<\/a>) to be reviewed by Academy members, offering the opportunity to provide comments. Academy members should provide comments by February 6 via this survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n Comments will be reviewed and changes will be made to the proposal, if needed. If comments warrant moving forward with developing a position, a motion will be put forth to the House of Delegates related to the future of this potential position paper. Voting on this motion will take place in March.
