Have you served in any other positions for UAND or the Academy? If so, what were they?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Treasurer (1995-1997)<\/p>\n

What is your current \u201cday job\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clinical Information Systems Analyst\/Project Manager for Intermountain Healthcare \u2013 nutrition informatics (what I do) is a \u201cnon-traditional\u201d job for a dietitian but still very much involved with dietetics<\/p>\n

What was your first job as a dietitian?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Community Dietitian at Merle West (now \u201cSky Lakes\u201d) Medical Center in Klamath Falls, Oregon<\/p>\n

If you could have a super power what would it be and why? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would want to fly \u2013 I could get places much quicker and the scenery would be awesome!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What is the best meal you\u2019ve ever had?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Probably a Christmas Eve dinner (multiple courses) that I ate in Orleans, France when I served there as a missionary.<\/p>\n

If you could spend a day anywhere, with anyone, doing anything you want, what would it be like?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would go with any of my family that would want to an amusement park (maybe Cedar Point in Ohio) and ride as many roller coasters as we could.<\/p>\n

What advice do you have for young dietitians? What do you wish you would have known when you first became a dietitian?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Advice:\u00a0 try several areas of dietetics before you settle on one and be sure the one you pick is something you like or for which you have passion.<\/p>\n

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?\u00a0 What is your dream job?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have been working in my dream job now for 11 years.\u00a0 I see myself in the same position in 5 years; it is hard to imagine doing something else.\u00a0 Every day in my job is an adventure and brings something new.<\/p>\n
