Which would be the best fit for you?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Membership Committee Member<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Purpose: <\/span>Build a stronger network of dietitians in Utah, develop professional relationships, make friends, learn,\u00a0and have a good time.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Responsibilities:<\/span>\u00a0We plan parties,\u00a0host events, and reach out to dietitians all over Utah.\u00a0 We will have 4-6 networking events this year and would love your help.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Qualifications:\u00a0<\/span>Dietetic student, intern, DTR or RDN<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Term of office:<\/span>\u00a01 year<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Social Media Committee Member<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Purpose:<\/span> Assist in generating content for UAND social media platforms and lead the annual effort to grow the social media presence of the Utah Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Responsibilities: <\/span>Write content and post to UAND blog once per month; write content and post to UAND Facebook once per week; participate in social media committee meetings;.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Qualifications:<\/span> Dietetic student, intern, DTR or RDN<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Term of office:<\/span> 1 year<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>National Nutrition Month Committee Member<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Purpose:\u00a0<\/span>Assist in developing and implementing a plan for statewide recognition of National Nutrition Month<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/span>May include any of the following:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Contact state and local government to declare National Nutrition Month (NNM) and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day<\/li>\n<li>Assist with fund raising or grant applications.<\/li>\n<li>Develop press materials, videos, pamphlets\/brochures to promote NNM.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Public Relations Chair to publicize NNM events and activities.<\/li>\n<li>Plan activites and events to raise awareness of RDs\/RDNs, UAND, and Nutrition.<\/li>\n<li>Empower RDs\/RDNs and students to develop and share NNM activities in their own practice settings and communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Qualifications:\u00a0<\/span>Dietetic student, intern, DTR or RDN<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Term of office:\u00a0<\/span>1 year<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Annual Meeting Committee Member<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Purpose:\u00a0<\/span>Assist in planning and coordinating the Utah Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics annual meeting which serves the members by providing opportunity for continuing education credit, professional development, and networking<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/span>We plan the largest UAND activity of the year\u2014the Annual Meeting. Responsibilities vary, but you would have a chance to serve on one of several sub-committees: marketing, speaker, sponsor\/vendor, venue, catering, or poster session. We\u2019d love your help!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Qualifications:<\/span>Dietetic student, intern, DTR or RDN<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Term of office: <\/span>1 year<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Foundation Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Purpose:<\/span> Put together a Foundation Booth at the annual Meeting, to raise money for the foundation.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Responsibilities:<\/span> Attend orientation and Quarterly Board of Directors Meetings; In order to at least meet AND assessment, organize and implement revenue-generating projects;\u00a0Maintain a separate bank account to facilitate purchases and provide seed money for projects; Serve on Annual Meeting Committee<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Qualifications:<\/span> RD or DTR and UAND member<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Term of
